Position: Release Coordinator – Payment and Cashing Retail Domain

Location: Lille, France

Overview

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Release Coordinator to join our team, based in Lille, France. In this key role, you will be responsible for managing and coordinating software releases, ensuring smooth transitions from development to production, and facilitating effective communication across all stakeholders including technical and business teams. The ideal candidate will possess strong organizational skills, a keen attention to detail, and the ability to work efficiently in both French and English to support global release operations.

Key Responsibilities

Release Planning and Coordination:

• Work with the Release Manager for all decision making.
• Oversee the planning, scheduling, and execution of software releases.
• Collaborate with Build, RUN and QA teams to define release scope and timelines.
• Participate in PI Planning, Daily Sprint and Retrospective meetings.

Process Management:

• Monitor the progress of release activities.
• Ensure all pre-release checks are completed.
• Track Released Deliverables against established milestones.

Documentation:

• Maintain accurate release documentation
• Release Schedule/Calendar
• Release notes
• Deployment Instructions
• Ensure all pre-release checks are completed.
• Track Released Deliverables against established milestones.

Communication:

• Serve as the central point of contact for release-related communications.
• Provide clear updates to stakeholders and facilitating pre and post release reviews.

Risk and Issue Management:

• Identify potential risks and issues associated with releases.
• Proactively work with stakeholders to resolve problems and minimize impact.

Reporting & Analytics:

• Prepare and present detailed reports on Release Performance, client satisfaction, and Release Operational metrics.
• Analyze data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.

Required Qualification and Skills

Education:

• Bachelor’s or Post Graduate Degree in Information Technology or related field.

Experience:

• 8+ years of experience in release management, project coordination, and/or IT operations.

Skills:

• Functional & Technical Understanding of Retail and Point of Sale
• Technical Knowledge and experience of:
• Github Code Management
• JIRA & Github
• JFrog artifactory
• RPM and Docker Images
• Puppet
• Strong understanding of service management frameworks
• ServiceNow and JIRA Tools
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to handle pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Detail-oriented, organized, and able to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Language Skills: Fluency in French Language and English Professional.
