You join the Transactional regulatory, ESG & competition team, composed of 7 people, as a Regulatory Lawyer.
On a daily basis, your tasks are to:
- Ensure and coordinate the legal monitoring of the Legal Department on banking and financial law matters, as well as produce the impact analysis of new texts on Natixis's activities;
- Ensure the effective dissemination of legal and regulatory information to various stakeholders in several formats (participation in team meetings, analysis notes, contributions to the Regulatory Legal Blog, training sessions, videos, etc.);
- Ensure the participation of Natixis's Legal Department in internal cross‑functional regulatory projects and/or relevant market initiatives;
- Provide regulatory support and advice to the operational lawyers of the Legal Department as well as to the business lines (Front Office, Public Affairs, Compliance, etc.);
- Ensure the creation and the updating contract templates (e.g. distribution of financial instruments, MiFID agreements, etc.) and negotiating the legal documentation of transactions where applicable;
- Participate in internal working groups and/or place working groups.
You are required to interact regularly with all stakeholders within Natixis (Transaction Lawyers, Compliance, Public Affairs, Risk, etc.) in France and abroad.

This position is based in Paris with the possibility to work remotely.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

With a higher education, you have at least 7 years of experience in an investment bank or law firm.
Do you have:
- Banking and financial regulations (MIF, EMIR, PRIIPS, AIFMD, SFDR, banking monopoly, etc.)
- Crypto assets and digital finance more generally
- Ideally, prudential regulation
You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good listening ability, and you are:
- Autonomous
- Precise and rigorous
- Motivated by teamwork
You are proficient in English with a C1 level and you are used to working in an international environment.
