Unit Manager

The Unit Manager is a Registered Nurse responsible for coordinating the clinical care of an assigned unit within the center's 24-hour operation and ensuring consistent and quality care for all residents. The role empowers you to assess needs and implement care using the latest technology as part of a strong interdisciplinary team.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise the nursing team: give direction & assignments, offer training, and contribute to recognition and evaluations.
• Conduct regular rounds with patients and staff to monitor performance and care.
• Instruct the team regarding the skilled care process and function as a resource person for clinical issues.
• Ensure the completion of requested reports, e.g., infection control, pharmacy compliance, quality management.
• Promote hospitality and excellent customer service in every interaction with guests, their families, and visitors, fostering a positive, healthy environment.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, with at least 2 years of related experience.
• Current Registered Nurse State of Michigan RN license and current CPR-BLS certification.
• High level of analytical abilities to prepare personalized care plans, implement effective nursing care and rehabilitation, and develop solutions to difficult problems concerning well-being.
• Excellent customer service skills and commitment to delivering passionate, innovative care.
• Team player dedicated to supporting team members and getting the job done.

Compensation and Benefits
