Hours per Week: 35.1
Schedule: Days shift 7:30 am – 7:30 pm, every 3rd weekend required, holidays required
Pay Range: $38.20 – $57.30
Where You Will Work
The Emergency Department at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist is a Level I adult and pediatric trauma center that provides emergency healthcare for all types of injuries and illnesses, from life‑threatening conditions such as heart attacks or strokes to flu and viral illnesses. The Emergency Department is one of the first Emergency Medicine training programs in the country and continues to create the future of emergency care through patient‑care research and resident education. The Adult ED offers diverse assignments such as Super Track, Standard Medical, Trauma Bays, Behavioral Health, and the Clinical Decision Unit.
Expectations & Qualifications
- Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program
- Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which you practice
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
- Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) certification required within 6 months of hire
- 2 years of ED experience preferred
Job Responsibilities
As a skilled and compassionate RN, you will play a pivotal role in providing and coordinating comprehensive patient care through the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
Using evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and skillful communication, you will lead efforts to create the safest patient environment and the best patient experience across the continuum.
