Registered Nurse (RN)- Atrium Health Outpatient Neurology Ballantyne FT

Job Summary

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team full‑time in the Neurology department at Atrium Health Ballantyne. The RN will provide direct patient care, rooming, and clinical support, and assist with telephone triage in a fast‑paced outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Room patients and provide clinical support in a neurology outpatient practice.
• Assist with telephone triage, assessing patient symptoms, prioritizing concerns, and relaying critical information to providers.
• Apply the nursing process to deliver safe, therapeutic care in accordance with established standards, policies, and procedures.
• Utilize evidence‑based practice, clinical decision making, compassion, and strong communication to create a safe patient environment and positive experience.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state in which the RN practices.
• Minimum of 1 year of RN experience preferred; BLS certification required.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication skills, and a team‑oriented mindset.
• BSN preferred.

Position Details

Weekday hours: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Competitive compensation, total rewards, and a supportive work environment.
