Registered Nurse (RN) - Atrium Health Outpatient Infectious Disease Cabarrus FT

Overview

Atrium Health Infectious Disease Cabarrus is looking for an Ambulatory Registered Nurse (RN) to support triage, care coordination for at-home infusion patients, and clinic-based patient support. The position is located at AH Cabarrus in the Medical Arts Building and involves collaboration with providers and the clinical support team.

Responsibilities

• Provide triage via telephone and in-clinic, applying clinical judgment to assess patient needs.
• Coordinate care for patients receiving infusion therapy, including planning and follow-up as part of the care continuum.
• Support outpatient clinical activities and patient education in collaboration with the healthcare team.
• Deliver nursing care using evidence-based practice and the nursing process to ensure safe, therapeutic care in accordance with policies and procedures.

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Minimum of 3 years of nursing experience preferred; BSN preferred.
• Ambulatory care, med-surg, home health, infectious disease, or care coordination experience preferred.
• Strong assessment, triage, and patient education skills; experience managing chronic and complex patient populations is a plus.

Schedule, Pay, and Location

Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–5:00 pm (M-F, 8am–5pm).

Pay Range: $35.50 – $53.25 per hour.
