Regional Sales Manager - Local Gov - Toulouse
Job Summary
Your Career The Regional Sales Manager (Public Sector - Local Gov) is a significant driver of company revenue and growth. You’ll be responsible for leading and driving sales engagements, connecting customers with our solutions for every stage of threat prevention. Your goal is to meet and exceed your quota by crafting and implementing strategic territory plans targeting deployments of the Palo Alto Networks Next‑Generation Security Platform, displacing competing technologies, and building a truly zero‑trust security architecture.
As a Regional Sales Manager you will drive and orchestrate complex sales cycles and work with internal partners and teams to best serve the customer. Bring your consultative selling skills to initiate long‑standing relationships with prospective customers and executive sponsors. Your focus will be to create and implement strategic account plans for enterprise‑wide deployments, engage a programmatic approach to demand generation, and leverage prospect stories to create compelling value propositions.
Travel as necessary within your territory, and to company‑wide meetings.
Qualifications
- Experience and knowledge of SaaS‑based architectures, ideally in a networking and/or security context.
- Experience cultivating mutually beneficial relationships with channel partners to support a channel‑centric go‑to‑market approach for customers.
- Ability to lead all aspects of the sales cycle, including uncovering, qualifying, developing, and closing new, white‑space territories and accounts.
- Deep knowledge of U.S. DoW and/or intelligence community, or Civilian Agencies.
- Successful track record selling complex solutions.
- Excellent time‑management skills, with high levels of autonomy and self‑direction.
- Highly competitive, ramps quickly, extremely adaptive, and prides yourself on exceeding production goals.
- Active security clearance.
