Regional Sales Manager - Aerospace - France

The Regional Sales Manager Aerospace - France is an experienced and results-driven position that will lead our sales efforts within the France & Belgium. The candidate must have a strong background in technical sales within the tool manufacturing sector, and a proven track record of managing distributor relationships, developing new business opportunities, meeting revenue targets, and end customer visits. The candidate should also have familiarity with Airbus facilities, and Tier-1 suppliers into Aerospace.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory sales strategies to achieve or exceed revenue and growth targets.
  • Manage and grow existing accounts while identifying new market opportunities and customer segments.
  • Experience in connecting, testing, and presenting tools during demonstrations.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key end users.
  • Conduct regular sales visits, product demos, and technical presentations.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasts, market intelligence, and competitive analysis.
  • Collaborate with sales teams from other territories, engineering team and product teams to launch new products and promotional campaigns.
  • Monitor regional market trends and adapt strategies accordingly.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and performance updates to senior management.
  • Train and support distribution channels and end users in the region.
  • Represent the company at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, or a related field.
  • 5+ years of sales experience in the aerospace industry (cutting tools, power tools, hand tools, special tools etc.).
  • Experience managing a sales territory or region with distributor/channel partners.
  • Strong understanding of aerospace customers and applications (e.g., aerospace, tier-1, aerospace-mro).
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to analyze data, forecast trends, and make data-driven decisions.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and capable of working independently.
  • Proficiency in CRM systems (e.g., Salesforce or HubSpot) and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to travel within the region (up to 50–70%).

  • Will use specific vision abilities required by this job which include close vision and ability to adjust focus.
  • Occasional exposure to extreme heat, hot, dust/fumes, cold outdoor and indoor conditions.
