Overview
- Implement the commercial policy initiated by the national Key Accounts with regional distributor customers
- Negotiate agreements with independent distributors while ensuring consistency across clients
- Lead and coordinate the various stakeholders at the clients you are responsible for
- Serve as the primary point of contact for site managers of your client accounts
- Manage the budget for your territory
- Develop action plans for each client and use all available levers in accordance with the commercial policy
- Ensure achievement of volume and profitability targets and control commercial budgets in compliance with internal procedures and allocated budgets
- Be responsible for managing and monitoring commercial costs for your area
- Maintain active market and competitor intelligence and report relevant information to management
- Visit cheesemongers/cheese retailers and key influencers in the sector
- Organize and participate in in-store promotions at cheesemongers and trade events with distributors
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in business/commerce (equivalent to Bac+3/4); 5 years' experience in the foodservice/dairy/cheese sector is a plus
- Strong interest in regional and artisanal products
- Knowledge of cheese
- Familiarity with decision-makers in your region
- Business- and results-oriented
- Strong negotiation skills
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Rigor and a clear sense of priorities
- Analytical ability and adaptability
