About the role
Reporting to the Municipal Sales Manager for the European Union, the Regional Sales Manager is responsible for driving growth in the municipal UV treatment market. This position is remote, ideally based in northern France, and requires up to 60% travel.
Responsibilities
- Create monthly sales plans to meet targets using customer engagement, value selling, and funnel management.
- Build and maintain a strong network of customers and channel partners to promote UV solutions (TrojanUV/Aquafides) in the municipal water sector.
- Maintain relationships with key stakeholders influencing purchasing decisions.
- Monitor and report on market trends, competition, and opportunities during monthly reviews.
- Engage in sales activities such as site visits, trade shows, demos, and channel management.
- Provide field input for corporate initiatives (e.g., market research, Kaizen, beta testing).
- Support proposal development and contract negotiations.
- Track KPIs monthly and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Lead all municipal product activities for Trojan Technologies.
- Foster collaborative relationships with internal and external customers.
- Use CRM to log activities, manage opportunities, present monthly funnel and forecast reviews, and capture voice of customer insights.
- Execute regional growth strategies, applying strategic thinking and innovative tactics to drive success.
Essential Requirements
- PROVEN EXPERIENCE in technical B2B sales, ideally within the water or environmental sector.
- A degree in a science‑related field such as Chemistry, Biology, Environmental Science, or Engineering (an asset).< /li>
- Native French speaker with fluent English proficiency.
- Ideally based in the North of France, with the ability to travel up to 60% within the assigned territory.
