Regional Microscopy Sales Engineer

Position Overview

The Regional Microscopy Sales Engineer will be responsible for developing new business to achieve sales targets for the BC43 spinning disk confocal microscope across the EMEA region.

Responsibilities

• Combine application and market knowledge with existing contacts in the microscopy community to build a strong territory presence.
• Develop and secure new sales opportunities, achieving sales targets for the BC43 model.
• Maintain up‑to‑date knowledge of product specifications, market trends, and competitive landscape.
• Collaborate with internal teams to provide technical support and client presentations.

Qualifications

• Master’s degree in life science or equivalent experience in a life science discipline.
• At least 3 years of experience using confocal microscopes.
• Extensive research/laboratory experience or significant experience using fluorescence microscopy for biological research.
• Experience in confocal microscopy sales is highly desirable.
• Must possess the right to work in France and be able to travel freely throughout the UK and Europe.

Travel and Work Location

Position is based from home in France. Requires business travel to customers at least 50% of the time with a total of 30% overnight travel, including international travel.
