If so, i have a bilingual EMEA Marketing Manager position available to work in a much needed area of scientific research.

Our client is a market leading information provider into the scientific industry, globally. They work closely with blue chip scientific organisations, government institutions and academic institutes.

Position Summary

This position is responsible for strategising, executing, and implementing localised marketing strategies in Europe, the Middle East & Africa in alignment with the brand. The position is desired to execute the marketing strategies and plans established by the Marketing Division in HQ. It will develop and implement the marketing plans for the following aspects.

Responsibilities

Brand Elevation

  • Develop and implement localized comprehensive marketing strategies through enterprise events, tradeshows, PR, and campaigns with the local languages and cultural norms.
  • Deliver the corporate messages in various European languages proactively to resonate with the local market.
  • Initiate, translate, and execute localized marketing projects or campaigns to enhance customer relationships and promote organisational branding.
  • Develop a direct presence in the territory and build up additional channels for effective communication.
  • Support and reinforce the website in local languages to be a vital communication hub for the territory.
  • Support media communication adoption and translation
  • Maintain and report customer information

Lead Generation

  • Identify industry segments and new logos for any of the products and solutions through intensive market research, in particular, for the new verticals.
  • Establish a workable methodology for lead generation through enterprise events, tradeshows, PR, SNS, and campaigns.

Job Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent.
  • Experience: 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
  • Experience: Demonstrated experience in publishing, information‑solutions software, and/or scientific organizations.
  • Experience: Experience marketing chemistry‑related products and/or scientific or intellectual‑property information (preferred).
  • Experience: Proven ability to lead market‑driven campaigns focused on lead generation.
  • Technological Knowledge / Competencies: Strong writing and editing skills.
  • Technological Knowledge / Competencies: Solid understanding of marketing fundamentals.
  • Technological Knowledge / Competencies: Effective team player with strong interpersonal skills; able to collaborate within a small team and contribute to a positive team culture.
  • Technological Knowledge / Competencies: Excellent communication skills and the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels in a matrixed and/or agile environment.
  • Technological Knowledge / Competencies: Demonstrated self‑motivation, initiative, and the ability to work independently.
  • Technological Knowledge / Competencies: Ability to build strong relationships and influence cross‑functional partners.
  • Technological Knowledge / Competencies: Proficiency in English and German, plus at least one additional language: French (preferred), Italian, Spanish, or Portuguese.
  • Travel Required: < 30 %
