Job Description
As Regional Marketing Director for Europe (excluding France), you will oversee the deployment of the marketing strategy for Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems in your region. You will ensure the operational implementation and marketing amplification of all the brand roadmaps and projects. The ultimate goal is to elevate our brands in the European region by ensuring a seamless alignment between the global brand vision and hotel operations. You will be based in our headquarters in Issy-les-Moulineaux, France and will report to the VP Openings, Guest experience and Regional Marketing.

Key Interactions
- As Regional Marketing Director, you will work in close collaboration with the global and regional team, ensuring the brand’s identity and values are consistently communicated across all marketing platforms.
- You will be in charge of sharing the vision of Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems brands with the owners, the hotel’s General Managers and the hotel marketing teams to maintain brand integrity and position the properties as premium offerings in their markets.

- Global Marketing & Brand, Topline and Performance, Operations, Development, Procurement, Design & Technical Services, Food & Beverage, IT, ESG, Talent & Culture, Public Relations, Loyalty
- Externally:
- General Managers, Hotel Directors Of Sales & Marketing, Hotel Marketing Managers, Owners, Agencies, External partners
Your Key Missions and Responsibilities
- Definition and adaptation of 360° regional marketing plans for Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery and Emblems.
- Adaptation of global marketing roadmaps to the European landscape by knowing precisely the network you have in charge, regional guests’ expectations as well as local competition.
- Amplification of global brand moments through local PR, social media and influence actions, as well as hotel activations and events.
- Tracking and monitoring the performance of the defined marketing actions through campaign reports.
- Forecast, follow‑up and management of regional marketing budgets.
- Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery and Emblems’ hotels supervisor for a seamless roll‑out of the brand visions:
- Cascading and adaptation of the brand guidelines to the hotels in Europe.
- Implementation of the brand standards, visual identities and brand assets.
- Rolling out of the social media, influence and PR guidelines and tools.
- Brand guardian & ambassador in Europe:
- Presentation of marketing plans and attendance to business reviews with Owners.
- General Managers, Hotel Directors of Sales & Marketing’s go‑to person to ensure consistency between global communication and in‑hotel experience.
- Direct support to regional corporate teams for all brand‑related documents and key presentations (Operations, Development, Opening Team, Luxury Sales, Guest Experience, Performance, e‑commerce, Revenue Management, etc).
- Regional brand spokesperson (internal conventions and conferences, etc).
Qualifications
Experience
- University education at Bac +5 level or business school (e.g., Master’s degree in marketing, communication, marketing management, commercial strategies, hospitality, etc.).
- Typically 5 to 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role in luxury hospitality or a related industry.
Qualification
- Mastery of operational marketing techniques and ability to adapt and roll out a marketing action plan (including social media, events and PR).
- Deep understanding of the luxury market, travel and tourism trends, and consumer behavior in the high‑end hospitality sector.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and charisma, to federate all the stakeholders around the brands and the projects.
- Prominent verbal and written communication skills in French and English with a strong capacity for synthesis.
- Robust rigor, autonomy and organization skills, to be able to coordinate and run multiple projects simultaneously, at different stages of progress.
