Job Description

The role: Regional Marketing Director for Europe (excluding France). Responsibilities include overseeing the deployment of marketing strategy for Sofitel, MGallery & Emblems in Europe, ensuring operational implementation and marketing amplification of all brand roadmaps and projects. The ultimate goal is to elevate our brands in the European region by aligning the global brand vision and hotel operations. You will be based in Issy‑les‑Moulineaux, France and report to the VP Openings, Guest Experience and Regional Marketing.

Your Key Missions And Responsibilities

  • Define and adapt 360° regional marketing plans for Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery and Emblems
  • Adapt global marketing roadmaps to the European landscape, knowing the network, regional guests’ expectations and local competition
  • Amplify global brand momentum through local PR, social media, influence actions, as well as hotel activations and events
  • Track and monitor the performance of defined marketing actions via campaign reports
  • Forecast, follow‑up and manage regional marketing budgets
  • Supervise Sofitel, Sofitel Legend, MGallery and Emblems’ hotels for a seamless roll‑out of brand visions
  • Cascade and adapt brand guidelines to hotels in Europe
  • Implement brand standards, visual identities and brand assets
  • Roll out social media, influence and PR guidelines and tools
  • Act as brand guardian & ambassador in Europe; present marketing plans and attend business reviews with owners
  • Be the go‑to person for General Managers and Hotel Directors of Sales & Marketing to ensure consistency between global communication and in‑hotel experience
  • Direct support to regional corporate teams for all brand‑related documents and key presentations (Operations, Development, Opening Team, Luxury Sales, Guest Experience, Performance, e‑commerce, Revenue Management, etc.)
  • Self‑mandated brand spokesperson at internal conventions and conferences

Qualifications

  • University education at Bac +5 level or business school (e.g., Master’s degree in marketing, communication, marketing management, commercial strategies, hospitality, etc.)
  • Typically 5 to 7+ years of experience in marketing, with at least 3 years in a senior or leadership role in luxury hospitality or a related industry
  • Mastery of operational marketing techniques and ability to roll out marketing action plans (including social media, events and PR)
  • Deep understanding of the luxury market, travel and tourism trends, and consumer behavior in the high‑end hospitality sector
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and charisma, to federate stakeholders around the brands and projects
  • Prominent verbal and written communication skills in French and English with a strong capacity for synthesis
  • Robust rigor, autonomy and organization skills, to coordinate and run multiple projects simultaneously across different stages
