Brief Info About Vinted Our mission is to make second‑hand the first choice, and we’re looking for people who want to help us get there. Every day, we work together to help our members buy and sell pre‑loved clothing and lifestyle items, giving each piece a second life – or even a third.

Information About The Position

The Regional Delivery Manager acts as the end‑to‑end commercial and operational owner of our carrier partnerships and delivery performance across a region within the market (for example Western France). This role bridges commercial procurement and day‑to‑day operational execution. Your mission is dual‑focused: first, you will identify, select, negotiate pricing, and contract the most suitable carriers within set commercial margins to optimise our unit economics; second, you will drive operational excellence by managing carrier performance, tracking capacity, and leading weekly business reviews. From the initial sourcing of a carrier to their daily operational tracking and SLA compliance, you will ensure a seamless, high‑quality, and cost‑effective delivery experience for Vinted members.

Responsibilities

  • Manager daily performance and issue resolution: analyze daily delivery metrics and lead alignment calls with under‑performing partners to demand root‑cause analyses and corrective action plans.
  • Flow and capacity monitoring: review daily flow reports to clear package leftovers, track non‑compliant pickup points, and coordinate with the Points team to implement corrective actions.
  • On‑site floor checks: conduct regular operational checks to monitor sorting status and dispatch readiness, aligning with operations teams to resolve unexpected daily issues.
  • Daily leadership alignment: participate in daily business reviews with the Country Lead to evaluate performance, address urgent operational topics, and adjust forecasted vehicle resources to maximise efficiency.
  • Weekly partner reviews: lead weekly business reviews with key partners to enforce SLAs, review driver performance, and confirm carrier capacity against forecasted volumes.
  • Penalty and compliance enforcement: execute action plans for distribution centres failing to meet weekly quality and loss thresholds, coordinating updates with the Country Lead.
  • Sourcing and price negotiations: monitor market developments to actively challenge and re‑negotiate pricing with partner DSPs to align with cost targets and maintain healthy commercial margins.
  • Carrier sourcing and network resilience: research, select, and contract new carriers in your region, maintaining a strong backup partner network to guarantee service continuity.
  • Site quality audits: conduct audits at distribution centres to evaluate overall operational quality and partner compliance.
  • Strategic project support: drive and track progress on dedicated projects assigned by the Country Lead, such as network expansions and green logistics initiatives.

Qualifications

  • Proven logistical and operational expertise in last‑mile logistics, with deep knowledge of operational metrics (SLA, MM/LM scans, resort rates, dispatch readiness, and sorting processes).
  • Strong sourcing and commercial negotiation skills: track record of searching, selecting, and contracting logistics providers; confident in challenging DSP pricing structures and executing commercial re‑negotiations to align with target OKRs.
  • Data‑driven and analytical: ability to digest daily flow reports, identify performance trends, and translate operational data into concrete sourcing strategies or penalty action plans.
  • High operational discipline: comfortable working in a fast‑paced environment with structured daily and weekly timelines (including D‑1 performance reviews, daily floor checks, and weekly WBRs).
  • Resilient problem solver: skilled at demanding and evaluating formal RCAs from partners and implementing immediate, structured action plans to turn poor performance around.
  • Excellent communication and languages: fluent in French and English, comfortable communicating with a wide range of stakeholders – from carrier drivers to DSP executives and Country Leads.
  • Proactive risk mindset: exceptional foresight in managing capacity risks, regional holidays, and partner changes to safeguard network resilience.
  • Mobility: ready and willing to travel frequently for distribution centre audits.
