Job Description

You join the team Natixis Recovery & Resolution as Finance Project Manager , in charge of coordinating the implementation of measures that would be activated in the professions Corporate and investment banking (CIB) and Asset and Wealth Management (AWM) in the event of a major liquidity or solvency crisis within the Group, before entering into resolution (liquidity relief plan, recovery plan) and resolution (bail-in, reduction or separation of certain activities, restructuring of activities). These systems meet the requirements set by the European regulator and are integrated in line with the processes planned by Groupe BPCE.

On a daily basis, your tasks are to:

Design and implement new features in the module Save Liquidity from Contingency Funding Plan (CFP);

Strengthen the Excel projection tools for financing and market activities in order to integrate new needs, such as additional time steps or new intensities of crisis;

Specify and implement a more accurate modeling of long-term financing professions, particularly in syndication and CPRM , then check their relevance via back-tests;

Develop an accelerated update procedure for the Solvent Wind-Down plan , by identifying sources, assessing anomalies and implementing the necessary remediations;

Manage and coordinate this work in a complex and evolving environment, in connection with the business lines, the ALM Liquidity teams of BPCE and Natixis, the second line of defense, and the European supervisors.

As Finance Project Manager , you are participating in the evolution of two key banking recovery and resolution mechanisms: the Contingency Funding Plan , a pre‑resolution tool aimed at addressing a more or less severe liquidity crisis, and the Solvent Wind-Down of trading books , a post‑bail‑in reorganization tool intended to prepare for the cessation of market activities and the rest of the prudential trading book. You also contribute to the production of deliverables and the coordination of Natixis' contributions to Groupe BPCE’s work on these issues, in collaboration with the European authorities and BPCE’s Financial Resilience department.

Required Skills/Qualifications/Experience

About you: If this is your description, you are made to work with us!

With a higher education in finance, banking, risk management or equivalent, you have at least 2 years of experience in positions within the banking sector, ideally in Corporate and Investment Banking, on projects related to structural risks and/or front office/ middle office market activities.

You master:

  • The products of BFI, in financing and capital markets;
  • Processing large volumes of data, in modeling and reporting;
  • Advanced Excel (TCD, INDEX, MATCH, INDIRECT...);
  • Market and data tools (Alteryx, BO, Power BI);
  • Structural risk issues; knowledge of recovery/resolution frameworks is a plus.

You have excellent interpersonal skills, a very good ability to listen; you are:

  • Curious;
  • Rigorous;
  • Strength of proposal.

You master English with a B2 level.
