Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris

The hotel has been multiple times named the best hotel in the world with six Michelin stars, 243 rooms and suites, a spa, and seven private lounges. Position: Réceptionniste (H/F)

We are looking for an experienced and qualified Receptionist. The candidate must hold a work permit in accordance with French legislation. A fluent level of French and English is required. The position is based in Paris.

Profil recherché

The Receptionist is a key figure in guest welcome at the Four Seasons Hotel George V Paris. They are responsible for the personalized greeting of guests upon arrival, logging their stay into our computer system, and escorting them to their rooms while presenting the hotel’s services and facilities. Throughout the stay, the Receptionist responds to guest requests with responsiveness and professionalism, directing them to the appropriate service when necessary. They must have an in‑depth knowledge of our offerings, the operating hours of our dining venues, and must communicate fluidly with all hotel departments to guarantee an exceptional experience. At the end of the stay, the Receptionist assists guests with billing and ensures a courteous and efficient departure. All services are delivered with excellence, professionalism, and discretion, respecting Four Seasons standards. The Receptionist embodies the image of the hotel through their welcome and attitude, attentiveness, outstanding presentation, clear diction, strong listening skills, and a keen sense of personalized service. They also proactively engage in upselling by suggesting appropriate products and services, contributing to the hotel’s revenue. Under the supervision of the Brigade Chiefs, Assistant Directors, and Head Reception, the Receptionist must model efficiency and hospitality, ensuring every guest feels unique and privileged at the hotel.

Fonctions Essentielles

  • Welcome and check‑in guests with great attention to their specific requests, providing an efficient, professional service in line with Four Seasons standards.
  • Escort each guest to their room upon arrival, presenting hotel services.
  • Know the hotel’s rooms, all categories and rates, and all services and operating hours.
  • Offer, whenever possible and appropriate, a higher room category at a preferential rate to continue developing our upselling programme.
  • Handle reservation, modification, or cancellation requests in the absence of Reservation Agents, following procedures.
  • Respond to any guest request regarding the hotel or direct guests to the relevant service.
  • Report any client comment or complaint to superiors.
  • Respect all administrative and security procedures to optimise task completion.
  • Record all information supplied by the guest at check‑in into their profile and reservation.
  • Generate a guest invoice and handle payment collection.
  • Master security and emergency procedures and apply them calmly.
