Receptionist

Role Description

The Receptionist at Hôtel & SPA des Pêcheurs is a full-time, on-site role based in Cavallo Island. The role involves welcoming guests, managing check-in and check-out procedures, and providing information about hotel services, spa offerings, and local attractions. Day-to-day tasks include answering phone calls, responding to emails, handling reservations, and coordinating with housekeeping and other departments to ensure smooth operations. The Receptionist will process payments, maintain accurate records, and address guest requests or issues promptly and professionally. The role also requires maintaining a tidy reception area and consistently delivering a high level of customer service.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service and communication skills, with the ability to interact professionally and courteously with guests and team members.
• Demonstrated receptionist duties experience, including managing check-in/check-out, reservations, and front desk operations.
• Proficient phone etiquette and ability to handle multiple incoming calls and inquiries efficiently.
• Solid clerical skills, including basic computer literacy, data entry, and record-keeping.
• Attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced hospitality environment.
• Fluency in French and good command of English; additional languages are an asset.
• Previous experience in hotels, resorts, or spa environments is preferred.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
