Role Description

This is a full‑time on‑site Receptionist role based in Rennes. The Receptionist will serve as the first point of contact for visitors, partners, and callers, providing a welcoming and professional presence at the front desk. Daily tasks include greeting and directing visitors, answering and routing phone calls, managing incoming and outgoing mail, and maintaining visitor logs. The role also involves scheduling appointments, booking meeting rooms, supporting basic administrative and clerical tasks, and ensuring the reception area remains organized and presentable. The Receptionist will collaborate with various internal teams to provide accurate information and support smooth operations within the organization.

Qualifications

  • Strong receptionist and front desk skills, including Receptionist Duties and basic Clerical Skills.
  • Excellent Phone Etiquette and the ability to manage multiple phone lines professionally.
  • Effective Communication skills, both spoken and written, with the ability to interact clearly with diverse audiences.
  • Customer Service skills focused on courtesy, responsiveness, and problem-solving.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize tasks, with attention to detail and reliability.
  • Comfort using office software and common tools (email, calendars, word processing, spreadsheets).
  • Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative, or customer‑facing role is preferred.
  • Ability to work on‑site in Rennes and collaborate in a team‑oriented public service environment.
