React Native Developer — iOS + Android App (WordPress Backend) BBE Marketing $

We're building a cross-platform mobile app (iOS + Android) for Bookingagentinfo.com using React Native that connects to an existing WordPress backend. The web product is already live with an established user base and membership/subscription system. The app needs to authenticate existing users, gate content based on membership level, and surface core product features in a clean, native mobile experience.

What you'll build:

• User authentication via WordPress REST API (JWT-based login using existing credentials)
• Membership/subscription gating — different experiences for free vs paying users
• Search interface across a large dataset with filters
• Profile and detail screens
• News/activity feed
• Map-based event discovery
• App Store and Google Play submission

Tech stack:

• React Native with Expo
• WordPress REST API + JWT authentication
• Existing membership plugin API (details shared on engagement)

What we're looking for:

• Proven experience shipping React Native apps to both the App Store and Google Play — links to live apps required
• Strong WordPress REST API experience, including authentication flows
• Experience with membership or subscription gating in mobile apps
• Comfortable working from a product spec and making sensible implementation decisions independently
• Clear, proactive communicator — we're non-technical on our end
• Fluent with AI-assisted development tools (Claude Code, Cursor, etc.)

This is a project-based engagement with milestone payments. Following a successful v1 build, there is ongoing retainer potential for maintenance and future feature work.
