Rail Studies Engineer

Overview

• Join our railway engineering unit and contribute to various study phases
• Carry out design studies at different stages (AVP - preliminary design, PRO - detailed design, DCE - tender documentation)
• Analyze input data and the existing context
• Produce graphical deliverables using specialized design tools
• Design technical solutions related to track alignment and clearance envelope
• Contribute to track superstructure (track structure) studies
• Contribute to the technical quality of deliverables and ensure compliance with French railway standards

Requirements

• Bachelor\'s or Master\'s degree in Civil Engineering (Bac+3 to Bac+5 or equivalent)
• Significant experience in a railway engineering consultancy
• Proficiency in railway alignment design (GEORAIL, COVADIS, AUTOCAD…)
• Good knowledge of French railway standards
• Experience in BIM design is an asset
• Analytical thinking, synthesis skills and critical judgment
• Rigor, autonomy and attention to detail
• Ability to work in a team and collaborate effectively
• Organizational skills and ability to manage priorities
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Curiosity and a willingness to develop professional skills
