The Detection team is the “eyes” of our autonomous vehicles. Their mission is to provide high-fidelity environment perception:
Obstacle Data: 3D positioning, existence probability, kinematics (static/dynamic), speed, history, and prediction.
Object Pose Estimation: Specialized detection for loading docks, containers, and other key assets.
Your Responsibilities
As a Perception Engineer:
Algorithm Design: Identify and define advanced detection algorithms using Lidar, Radar, and other perception sensors in collaboration with Tech Leads and Architects.
Tech Watch: Stay at the forefront of the state-of-the-art in autonomous driving and perception.
Roadmap Support: Assist the Tech Lead in defining the long-term technical vision.
As a Core Team Member:
Full Lifecycle: Design, document, implement, and review source code.
Validation: Define test plans and validate developments on test benches or directly in the vehicle.
Reliability: Ensure support and maintenance of your components from delivery to production (integration, deployment, and run).
