Program Overview
Each year we are looking for a group of Graduates interested joining our Graduate Program in various functions: R&D, Operations, Supply Chain, Sales & Marketing, HR, Finance, PMO and more.
The next program will start in October 2026 and will contain 3 international rotations across Amcor plants & offices in Europe. The contract location will depend on the successful candidate.
Responsibilities
In your role as R&D Operations Engineer Graduate, you will be:
- Supporting the development, deployment, and continuous improvement of R&D systems, tools, and operational processes across Europe
- Contributing to cross-functional European projects with other functions (Supply Chain, Procurement, Sales, IT, Sustainability, Operations, Product Management)
- Interfacing between business stakeholders and system/process owners to translate operational needs into structured, practical solutions
- Aligning data and analytics initiatives with business priorities to enable fact-based decision-making
- Supporting change management activities by preparing & delivering documentation, training materials, and communication for new or improved systems and processes
- Rotating across projects and focus areas within R&D Operations to explore interests, develop strengths, and shape future career direction
What do you need
Education & Experience
- Master’s/Honours degree in Industrial Engineering, General Engineering, Data Engineering or Chemical Engineering
- Evidence of academic achievements and/or extracurricular activities
- Up to 2 years of relevant internship or work experience in an industrial, engineering, R&D, or operations environment
- First international study or work experience as an asset
- Exposure to cross‑functional projects, data analysis, or process improvement activities is an advantage
Technical & Analytical Skills
- Strong analytical and structured problem‑solving mindset, with the ability to understand end‑to‑end processes
- Interest in IT systems and data, with basic knowledge of SQL, programming concepts, databases, and/or data modelling
- Experience with ERP systems (e.g. SAP) and/or CRM tools (e.g. Salesforce) is a plus
- Proficiency in MS Excel and PowerPoint; Power BI is nice to have

Language & Mobility
- Fluency in English. Any other European language as an advantage
- Willingness to travel and work abroad across Europe
