Reporting to the Mechanical R&D Manager, you will join a multidisciplinary R&D team of 50 employees (electronics, software, testing) and, more specifically, a mechanical team of 10 people (engineers and technicians). You will be involved in the design and mechanical architecture of our printers, taking into account quality, timeline, and cost considerations.

You will work on projects with direct access to the testing, prototyping, and manufacturing phases, allowing you to quickly see the impact of your technical choices.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop products for the Evolis range while meeting quality, deadline, and cost requirements.
• Conduct technical and economic analyses of selected solutions to optimize product value.
• Conduct active technology monitoring and identify innovative solutions prior to development projects.
• Oversee the design, creation, and refinement of prototypes.
• Verify, adjust, and validate designs throughout all project phases.
• Support the industrialization and transition of products to production.

Qualifications

You hold a master’s degree with a specialization in mechanical engineering. You have some experience in mechanical design, ideally in the context of plastic processing. You have a strong foundation in SolidWorks. You have a working knowledge of English.

You have strong analytical skills and the ability to solve complex problems. You are curious and enjoy working on practical problems and conducting tests. Your ability to work in a team and collaborate with a variety of stakeholders will be an asset for this position.

Travel

Occasional travel to our clients abroad may be required.
