You support our team as
R&D Manager Evolon (F/M/D) – Colmar, France
Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end product development, from idea and trials to industrialization on the production lines.
- Work hands‑on on trials, testing, and process optimization in close contact with production teams.
- Manage a small, agile R&D team with a strong coaching and ownership mindset.
- Collaborate directly with customers, sales, purchasing, and suppliers to deliver fast, relevant solutions.
- Drive multiple R&D projects using a structured stage‑gate approach while staying pragmatic and business‑focused.
Qualifications
- Hold a Master’s degree or PhD in Polymer Chemistry, Textiles, or a related field.
- Bringing 3–5 years of industrial R&D experience with a strong operational and customer‑facing component.
- Combining technical depth in polymers, fibers, or nonwovens with a strong “go & see” mindset.
- Communicate fluently in English and French.
- Demonstrate ownership, curiosity, team spirit, and willingness to be on the floor, with customers, and on the road.
