R&D HV & MV Design & Cost Engineer

• Define alignment between specifications, customer requirements, and proposed solutions
• Provide technical responses to customer requests and invitations to tender
• Ensure the creation, maintenance, and optimization of product ranges and bills of materials
• Lead all technical bids
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of products and processes
• Serve as the technical point of reference and lead technical responses
• Establish product bills of materials and validate the associated standard costs
• Organize and facilitate technical reviews with the Product Development R&D and Operations teams
• Identify, assess, and propose improvement projects (DTC, CFP, etc.) with the Product Development and Operations teams
• Ensure design rules are kept up to date and applied

Requirements

• Degree from a general engineering school, with a specialization in electrical engineering, electrotechnics, or materials engineering
• At least 2 years of experience in an R&D department within an industrial environment
• Strong technical skills
• Ability to lead cross-functional projects
• Analytical mindset and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal skills
• Fluency in French and professional and technical proficiency in English
• Ability to work across functions, including Sales, Production, and Product Development
• Ability to analyze customer needs and propose appropriate technical solutions
• Strong organizational and coordination skills
