Metric have partnered with a leading innovator in quantum computing hardware, developing scalable quantum processors based on advanced semiconductor and photonic integration. The company is at the forefront of building high-performance quantum devices designed to push the boundaries of quantum information processing.
As part of the Quantum Measurement Team with our client, you will play a key role in the measurement and characterization of multi-spin qubit devices, contributing to the realization of advanced quantum operations.
In close collaboration with fellow scientists, you will:
- Design, conduct, and analyse multi-qubit experiments involving spin qubits coupled to microwave resonators, in partnership with the chip design team.
- Benchmark and enhance the fidelities of single- and two-qubit gates, pushing performance beyond current state-of-the-art levels.
- Work alongside the theory team to optimize device performance and implement fundamental algorithms and error-correction protocols.
- Mentor and guide junior researchers, fostering growth and technical excellence within the team.
About You:
- You hold a PhD in Quantum Physics or a closely related field.
- You have completed a postdoctoral fellowship or gained your first industry experience in a relevant field.
- You possess deep expertise in semiconductor spin qubits or superconducting qubits.
- Experience with hybrid circuit QED (CQED) systems is highly valued.
- Previous work on multi-qubit experiments is considered a strong advantage.
- You have excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
