Quantum Academy Lead

Overview

Alice & Bob is developing the first universal, fault-tolerant quantum computer to solve the world\'s hardest problems. The quantum computer we envision building is based on a new kind of superconducting qubit: the Schrödinger cat qubit. In comparison to other superconducting platforms, cat qubits have the ability to implement quantum error correction autonomously.

About the Role

This role works closely with the leadership team, and is the chief architect of quantum education, inside the company and out. In this position, you will build Alice & Bob\'s Academy from the ground up: internal learning programs that bring quantum literacy to every employee, a world-class summer school for doctoral researchers, and the long-term co-creation of a competitive master\'s degree in quantum physics with leading European institutions.

You\'re a builder who has launched programs, grown communities, and created structure in complex environments - from academia, a research institute, a deep tech company, or an education-focused organization anywhere in the world. What matters most is a track record of getting things off the ground, the ability to earn scientists\' trust, and genuine passion for making frontier science accessible. A non-linear career path is a strength here, not a liability.

Responsibilities

• Lead the design and development of internal learning programs to raise quantum literacy across the company.
• Build and manage a world-class summer school for doctoral researchers.
• Co-create a competitive master\'s degree in quantum physics with leading European institutions.
• Collaborate with the leadership team as the chief architect of quantum education both internally and with external partners.

Qualifications

• Experience launching programs, growing communities, and creating structure in complex environments (academia, a research institute, a deep tech company, or an education-focused organization).
• Proven track record of getting programs off the ground and earning scientists\' trust.
• Passion for making frontier science accessible; comfortable with non-linear career paths.
