Quantitative Trader - Build & Deploy Profitable Strategies

I’m working with a leading global quantitative proprietary trading firm that is continuing to expand its European presence, with a key focus on building out its Paris-based trading team.

The Role

• Design and implement profitable systematic trading strategies across multiple asset classes
• Conduct alpha research, leveraging statistical models, machine learning and large-scale datasets
• Build, test and deploy strategies within a fully automated, low-latency trading environment
• Collaborate closely with quant researchers and engineers to enhance strategy performance and infrastructure
• Monitor live trading, optimise models and continuously refine signals
• Explore new datasets, signals and market opportunities to expand the strategy set

Profile

• Demonstrated track record of profitable systematic trading (strong Sharpe / PnL)
• Strong background in quantitative research, systematic trading or statistical modelling
• Excellent programming skills in Python and/or C++
• Solid foundation in mathematics, statistics and data analysis
• Experience with machine learning or large-scale data analysis is a strong plus
• Good understanding of market microstructure and trading dynamics
