Quantitative Developer
A leading quantitative trading firm is hiring a Python Quant Developer in Paris - embedded directly with a trading team, building the tools that turn research into live, profitable strategies.
You'd sit with the researchers, not at arm's length, iterating in real time on the research and backtesting framework, where what you build shows up in desk PnL fast. The kind of seat where your code moves markets, not dashboards.
This is a firm with a 25+ year track record and a best-in-class platform, low-latency systems, FPGA, hardware acceleration, built by some of the sharpest people in systematic trading, without the egos.
What you'd do
- Iterate with on-site researchers to sharpen strategy and PnL
- Build the Python tools at the core of strategy research
- Extend the simulation/backtesting framework
- Monitor and maintain research jobs
What we're looking for
- A degree in CS, Engineering or related (or equivalent in practice)
- Problem-solver who thrives in a fast, collaborative, distributed team
- C++, scripting, or markets experience a plus, not a must
Paris-based, hybrid.
Curious? Apply and let's talk; I'll walk you through the team and the platform, and you can decide from there.
