Quant Business Analyst
Job Overview
Join us as a Quant Business Analyst! Are you ready to shape the future of capital markets? We are looking for a Quant Business Analyst to join the ETF team, based in Paris. You will report to the Head of ETF Market Structure & Strategy and collaborate with teams across Euronext locations such as Milan and London.
Mission
- Maximize the yield, market share and revenue of Euronext ETF trading business
- Manage trading fees and market making programs
- Conduct order book analysis and ETF market quality research
- Maintain client relationships with key trading participants such as global banks, retail brokers, market makers, and prop trading firms
- Lead business development projects to expand ETF product offering and implement innovative ways to trade ETFs on Euronext venues
Responsibilities
- Lead the quantitative analysis and simulation models for optimizing trading fee initiatives across different clusters of trading members
- Innovate pricing strategy for ETF clients via segmentation or new trading fee proposals aiming to maximize yield extraction while capturing additional trading volumes
- Engage with the IT infrastructure to run analysis of trading members' activity and coordinate project management developments
- Adopt tools available to the team (in-house or third-party) to refine software, reports, dashboards and outputs to support business decisions
Qualifications
- Excellent academic background in Computer Science or Data Science (or degree in Math, Statistics, or Finance with software development skills)
- Experience in software development with coding skills in Python and VBA (required)
- Knowledge of C++ strongly recommended
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to solve problems under tight time constraints
- Project management experience is a plus
- Knowledge of financial markets is a strong added value
- Team player
- Fluency in English; another EU language (French or Italian) is a plus
