Quant Business Analyst – ETF Team
Join us to shape the future of capital markets. This role is based in Paris and reports to the Head of ETF Market Structure & Strategy.
Responsibilities
Lead quantitative analysis, simulation models, coordination with IT resources, and development of software tools for the ETF Team. Specific duties include:
- Scenario analysis and simulation models for optimizing trading fees initiatives across different clusters of trading members.
- Develop innovative pricing strategies for ETF clients via segmentation or new trading fee propositions to maximize yield extraction and capture additional trading volumes.
- Engage with IT infrastructure (connectivity, trading platform, market data) to run analysis of trading members’ activity and coordinate project management developments.
- Adopt tools (in‑house or third‑party) to refine software, reports, dashboards and outputs that drive business decisions.
Mission
- Maximize the yield, market share and revenue of Euronext ETF trading business.
- Manage trading fees and market‑making programs.
- Conduct order book analysis and ETF market quality research.
- Build client relationships with key trading participants such as global banks, retail brokers, market makers and prop trading firms.
- Drive business development projects to expand ETF product offering and implement innovative ways to trade ETFs on Euronext venues.
Qualifications
- Excellent academic background in Computer Science or Data Science. A degree in Mathematics, Statistics, or Finance with software development skills is welcome.
- Experience in software development and coding: Python and VBA required; knowledge of C++ is strongly recommended.
- Strong organizational skills, problem‑solving ability, and capacity to work under tight time constraints. Project management experience is a plus.
- Knowledge of financial markets is a strong added value.
- Team player; fluent in English; additional EU languages (French or Italian) are a plus.
