Overview
Quality Systems Specialist I (H/F/X) | Location: Grasse, France
At IFF, quality is at the heart of everything we do. The Quality Systems Specialist I supports the Quality team in maintaining and continuously improving the Quality Management System while ensuring compliance with customer, regulatory, and certification requirements.
Responsibilities
- Quality Systems & Compliance — Manage and maintain quality system documentation, including policies, procedures, SOPs, work instructions, and related records.
- Support the management and maintenance of site certifications, including ISO 9001, RSPO, and Halal.
- Coordinate and manage the internal audit program, including audit planning, execution support, reporting, and follow-up activities.
- Monitor, track, and follow up on audit findings to ensure timely closure and compliance.
- Support and coordinate the site's mock recall program and related activities.
- Assist in KPI tracking, reporting, and preparation of Management Review meetings.
- Monitor and follow up on CAPAs (Corrective and Preventive Actions) to ensure effective implementation and sustainability.
- Operational Quality — Support the Quality Engineer with day-to-day quality activities and operational priorities.
- Participate in problem-solving investigations and root cause analysis activities.
- Promote and reinforce GMP compliance and quality best practices throughout the organization.
- Support the deployment and monitoring of quality programs and initiatives.
- Coordinate and deliver quality-related training activities.
- Support onboarding and integration of new employees regarding quality systems and site requirements.
- Participate in cleaning validation activities and documentation review.
- Support Management of Change (MOC) processes and associated assessments.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives aimed at enhancing quality, compliance, and operational performance.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Quality, Chemistry, Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field.
- Initial experience in Quality Assurance, Quality Systems, Regulatory Compliance, or a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Knowledge of Quality Management Systems and applicable standards.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001, GMP principles, auditing processes, and CAPA management.
- Experience with documentation control and quality records management.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; experience with quality management software or SAP is a plus.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
