Position

Quality System Engineer – responsible for coordinating the implementation and maintenance of the quality system in accordance with IATF 16949 and related standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation and maintenance of the quality system per IATF 16949, including ESG and stakeholder review.
• Organise quality system audits on the audit calendar.
• Prepare for re‑certification audits (ISO, IATF, VDA, CCC, COP, and customer audits) and conduct the necessary pre‑audits.
• Coordinate and manage the certification body contract.
• Carry out internal audits (process, project, StEDE, CCL…) to identify and highlight deviations from the standard.
• Prepare the quality system management review, providing the implementation status to senior management.
• Audit the V5000 self‑evaluation for the Total Quality axis and support the QT manager in action‑plan development.
• Train staff to conduct process audits and certify them as PQA adjunct auditors; also train internal ISO/TS auditors.
• Ensure internal procedures and policies comply with client and industry requirements.
• Monitor compliance through audits as the management representative.
• Administer the internal quality portal (VDOC & VLS).
• Produce quality reports (reliability, consistency, transparency) using Data Locker Studio and other defined tools.
• Organise client‑specific self‑evaluations and pre‑audits for audits such as MMOG, Supplier Health Check, QSB+, etc.
• Support the systemic recovery plan or other quality improvement plans.
• Ensure every client with a supplier portal can access the portals, that monthly client‑specific CSR reviews occur on time, and that any CSR changes are communicated to project and operational teams for implementation during audits.

Qualifications

• Engineer or master’s degree in electronics or quality.
• At least three years of experience in an industrial sector.
• Experience with software development processes and the V‑cycle.
• Proficiency in QRQC (Quick Release Quality Control).
• Experience leading quality improvement initiatives and establishing/maintaining quality assurance systems.
• Knowledge of mechanical and hardware products and processes.
• English proficiency.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously.
• Agile mindset, customer orientation, collaborative spirit, data‑driven decision making.

Additional Qualifications

• Certified quality manager auditor (IATF and/or VDA).
• Certified VAQ 2102 auditor.
• Familiarity with international standards (ISO, IATF, AIAG, ASPICE, VDA, ISO 14000, OHSAS).
