Position Overview

We are seeking a proactive, hands-on Quality Specialist France to support Permobil’s dealer, distributor, and importer sites across France in the practical execution of quality processes.

In this field-based role, you will play a key part in helping sites implement and maintain the activities required to achieve and sustain HAS (Haute Autorité de Santé) certification and related compliance requirements. You will work closely with the Quality Manager France, who leads certification strategy and QMS oversight, while ensuring that quality processes are translated into clear, practical actions at site level.

This is an opportunity for an agile and solution-oriented professional who enjoys working independently, building strong relationships with local teams, and making quality processes work effectively in day-to-day operations.

This role can be based in any region of France, provided you are located in a city or region with strong transport connections to support frequent travel nationwide. Being based close to Rungis will be considered a plus.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide regular on-site and remote support to dealer, distributor, and importer sites throughout France, with approximately 70–80% travel, depending on location. Support the practical, day-to-day execution of Quality Management System (QMS) activities at site level.
  • Assist sites with product verification activities for distributors and importers.
  • Support complaint and feedback handling, including follow-up with relevant stakeholders.
  • Support site teams in the management of adverse events and market actions.
  • Follow up on Corrective and Preventive Actions (CAPAs), supporting timely closure and escalation where needed.
  • Help site teams implement the practical actions needed to achieve and maintain HAS certification.
  • Act as an accessible and responsive point of contact for quality-related questions, helping site staff apply QMS processes in their daily work.
  • Support the rollout of quality communications, training, and awareness materials to local sites.
  • Coordinate day-to-day site support closely with the Quality Manager France to ensure activities align with certification strategy and quality priorities.
  • Escalate non-conformances, complex regulatory matters, and issues outside agreed priorities to the Quality Manager France and/or VP EMEA Commercial Quality. Report on execution status, site-level issues, and HAS-related compliance gaps.
  • Collect relevant site data and information to support EMEA Management Reviews.

Qualifications & Skills

  • Academic degree in a relevant field is preferred; equivalent practical experience will also be considered.
  • Understanding of quality management systems and processes within life sciences is an advantage.
  • Experience in a customer-facing, field-based, or site-support role, such as sales support, distribution, or service, within a B2B and/or B2C environment.
  • Experience in the medical device industry or another regulated environment is a plus, but not essential.
  • Fluent French, both written and spoken, is essential for daily interaction with sites across France.
  • Working proficiency in English, written and spoken, at approximately CEFR B2 level or equivalent.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to work effectively with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Highly organized, practical, and comfortable managing priorities independently.
  • Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel extensively throughout France.

Who Are You

You are a practical, hands-on, and solution-oriented professional who enjoys helping others turn requirements into action. You are comfortable working directly with local site teams and understand that successful quality support is not only about providing guidance, but also about actively helping people implement processes in their everyday work.

You are confident working independently in a field-based role while remaining closely connected to your Quality colleagues and wider EMEA stakeholders. With strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a collaborative mindset, you can build trust with site teams, identify issues early, and contribute to a consistent, compliant, and high-quality customer experience across France.
