About the job

At Sanofi, we are an R&D‑driven, AI‑powered biopharma company committed to improving people’s lives and delivering compelling growth. As Quality Control Product Line Manager, you will be a key architect of Sanofi’s QC digital transformation — owning and driving the global digital strategy for Quality Control across our worldwide manufacturing network. Operating at the intersection of science, technology, and operational excellence, you will lead a high‑impact product portfolio that modernises QC labs through connectivity, AI, robotics, and advanced analytics.

Main responsibilities

  • Strategy & Vision: Define and own the multi‑year QC Digital product line strategy, aligned with Sanofi’s broader Digital & Data transformation agenda and global manufacturing & supply objectives. Represent the QC Digital product line in senior governance forums and contribute to cross‑functional strategic decisions impacting manufacturing and quality operations worldwide. Develop a compelling vision for the modernization of QC labs encompassing instrument connectivity, AI‑powered decision‑making, robotics, and real‑time analytics. Prioritise opportunities with measurable business impact on QC processes, lab efficiency, and manufacturing quality outcomes. Engage with the external ecosystem (technology vendors, industry consortia) to anticipate trends and shape Sanofi’s competitive positioning in QC digital innovation.

  • Delivery & Operations: Lead the end‑to‑end lifecycle of QC digital products — including Instruments Core Models, Lab Execution System, robotics, LIMS, and emerging AI/analytics solutions — from ideation through deployment and continuous improvement. Define QC data architecture strategy and integration interfaces, data flows and interoperability standards. Oversee roadmap planning, resource allocation, and budget management (OPEX/CAPEX) for the QC product line, ensuring financial accountability and ROI delivery. Measure, report, and continuously optimise product performance against clearly defined KPIs and business value metrics. Drive adoption and value realisation across Sanofi’s global manufacturing network, ensuring sustainable deployment and operational excellence. Maintain deep expertise in emerging QC technologies to keep the product line innovative, competitive, and future‑ready.

  • People & Culture: Build, mentor, and develop a high‑performing product team fostering a culture of accountability & transparency toward excellence. Champion a culture of innovation, agility, continuous improvement and customer centricity across the QC digital community. Drive change management and stakeholder engagement worldwide, ensuring alignment, buy‑in, and sustained adoption of digital transformation initiatives.

  • Proven track record of leading digital products or platforms from concept to global adoption at scale.
  • Deep expertise in Quality Control processes and systems – including LIMS, LES, robotics in QC, AI/ML applications – in highly regulated environments (GMP, GCP, GLP).
  • Demonstrated experience managing significant budgets (€5M+) and driving measurable ROI on digital investments.
  • Proven experience leading Agile product development teams and practices in complex, multi‑stakeholder environments.
  • Strong background in service line management and operational excellence (Run mode, SLA management, continuous service improvement).
  • Deep understanding of Quality Control processes, challenges, and manufacturing operations across a global industrial network.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with demonstrated experience operating in global, cross‑functional, and multicultural environments.
  • Track record of driving organisational transformation at scale, including change management and capability building.

Desired Skills
