As a Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment (QSHE) Manager at Kuehne+Nagel, you drive operational excellence and compliance across our facilities. Your work supports day‑to‑day operations and success in the warehouse and distribution centers, contributing to outcomes that matter far beyond the office.
How You Create Impact
- Subject matter expert for quality and safety matters
- Conduct investigations, lead root cause analysis, and implement corrective actions
- Coordinate and implement related standards and procedures
- Train staff and supervisors on accident and injury prevention, product and process safety, and excellent work practices; provide on‑the‑spot training when opportunities arise
- Support leadership and HR to embed DEI programs
- Maintain employee awareness and compliance with QSHE
- Monitor and advise on product quality matters
- Conduct audits to evaluate the effectiveness of systems and procedures; identify and assist with implementing improvements
- Assess and prevent health and safety hazards and implement corrective actions
- Track and validate approved suppliers list through supplier management tools
- Maintain calibration records, reports, and equipment documentation
- Maintain QSHE training matrix, training records, and certificates
- Host audits conducted by clients, third parties, and government agencies
What We Would Like You To Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Fluent in Spanish and English
- 4+ years of experience focusing on Quality, Safety, Health, and Environment in a warehousing or distribution environment
- 2+ years’ experience using quality systems
- 1+ year of leadership or training experience
- 1+ year’s experience with heavy industrial equipment such as conveyor and automation systems
- Willingness to travel up to 15% to Charlotte or Spotswood facilities
- Strong knowledge of occupational health, safety, workplace hazards, and associated controls
- Knowledge of ISO, Lean, OSHA standards and DOT regulations
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Experience in Environment Health and Safety (EHS) compliance
- Related certifications (e.g., Safety Management, OSHA, HSE, or HSQE) are a plus
What’s In It For You
The target salary range for this position is $100,000–$110,000. Base salary is part of a competitive total rewards package that includes health and dental benefits, a retirement savings plan, and tuition reimbursement. Individual pay may vary from the target range and is determined by factors such as experience, skills, job location, internal pay equity, and business considerations.
