What we need…

We are looking for our QA leader who will be responsible for shaping and executing the testing and quality assurance strategy for our SaaS platform, built with Angular and delivered via web and Capacitor-based mobile apps (Android/iOS).

You’ll lead and coach a skilled QA team based in London & Paris, evolve our automation frameworks (using Jest, Playwright, and Gherkin), and ensure every release meets the highest standards of reliability, usability, and performance.

This role combines hands-on expertise with leadership, ideal for someone who enjoys balancing strategy with operational excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Define and implement QA processes and standards across web and mobile platforms, aligned with Product and Engineering goals.
• Lead the QA team, fostering ownership, collaboration, and professional growth.
• Develop and maintain automated test frameworks (Jest, Playwright, Gherkin) integrated within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure smooth release cycles through strong regression coverage, test management (Jira, Zephyr), and quality gate reviews.
• Partner closely with Product and Engineering to embed testing early in the development lifecycle.
• Track and report on QA metrics (defect leakage, automation coverage, release stability) and use them to drive improvements.
• Champion a “quality-first” mindset across teams, ensuring robust testing practices and continuous feedback loops.
• Oversee mobile QA efforts, ensuring reliable testing and performance for our Capacitor-based mobile builds.

Requirements

• 8+ years of QA experience, including at least 2–3 years in a lead role within a SaaS or cloud-based product environment.
• Strong background in test automation using Jest, Playwright, and Gherkin/Cucumber.
• Experience with Jira and Zephyr for test and defect management.
• Excellent communication and team leadership skills across multiple geographies, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Proven ability to scale QA processes in a fast-paced environment.
