QA Engineer for Celestis NMS

Duties And Responsibilities

• Contribute to user‑stories created by the product owner
• Write test cases and implement automated test cases
• Perform manual tests for first run and non‑automatable tests
• Maintain the automatic test database
• Participate in test campaigns based on automated and manual tests
• Identify, report, and manage problems
• Discuss problem resolution with software and/or hardware developers
• Create and maintain technical documentation
• Actively participate in Scrum ceremonies
• Contribute to test and development methodology improvement
• Contribute to building our CI/CD platform

Profile And Skills

General

• 5+ years as test engineer
• Fluent in both English and French (oral, written)
• Agile / Scrum methodology

Technical Knowledge

• Good knowledge of test environments
• Robot Framework and robot‑framework libraries (web‑oriented, e.g., Browser library)
• GitLab
• Jira/Xray
• Basic understanding of Python and Java
• JSON REST APIs
• Knowledge of continuous integration (GitLab CI)
• Basic knowledge of Linux
• Basic telecommunication knowledge (DWDM and/or OTN welcome)

Behavioral Indicators

• Capacity to work in a collaborative agile environment
• Self‑motivated, with good analytical skills
• Ability to work in an international environment
