QA Engineer F/H
What you will do
- Synergy-Driven Automation: Collaborate closely with Front-end developers to design and maintain a scalable E2E automation suite using Playwright , leveraging shared expertise in TypeScript.
- Shift-Left Quality: Instill a testing mindset within your squad to identify anomalies at the earliest stages of development and drive continuous process improvement.
- Testing Excellence: Design and execute detailed test cases and non-regression suites to secure critical user journeys on both desktop and mobile.
- API Reliability: Ensure the quality and robustness of our APIs, aligning them perfectly with front-end requirements through rigorous API testing.
- Bug Management & Analysis: Partner with operational teams to analyze and resolve reported bugs, performing exploratory testing to maintain platform integrity.
- Performance Monitoring: Utilize monitoring and observability tools to track platform health and performance in a high-traffic environment.
The Challenge in Numbers
- Scope: Securing the stability of a platform processing 10k RPS at peak.
- Coverage: Protecting the experience of 19M users through automated E2E testing.
- Complexity: Validating functional flows across a 11TB structured data environment.
Who you will work with
We focus on feature delivery within our squad organization. A squad is composed of a Product Manager, a Product Designer, a Technical Lead, and Back-end, Front-end, and QA engineers.
Integrated to Squads work, we focus on technical excellence, bringing people together for tech improvements that serve quality such as CI/CD, DevX (Developer Experience), monitoring, and more.
As a QA Engineer, you will:
- Partner with the Product Manager to define the acceptance criteria for a feature, partner with the engineers to implement theses acceptance criteria.
- Build and expand the testing platform, from CI/CD to Slack automations.
What we are looking for
You have experience with multidisciplinary teams and you know how to get along with people while remaining exacting.
Automation Mastery: Advanced expertise with Playwright or similar modern testing frameworks is required.
CI/CD & Gitflows: Proven ability to integrate automated tests into GitLab CI pipelines to support continuous deployment.
High-Traffic Context: Experience ensuring quality and performance for platforms with massive user volumes.
Data Integrity: Understanding of databases (PgSQL, DynamoDB) to manipulate complex data flows.

- Testing & Quality: Playwright for E2E, Jest/React Testing Library, Visual Regression tools.
