Your mission
We are strengthening our product quality assurance capabilities across our portfolio:
- EDR (console and agents on all supported operating systems)
- Malprob
- XDR
- ScorX
As QA Engineer , you will be the guardian of product quality, stability, and reliability. You will design, implement, and execute structured QA processes across backend platforms and multi-OS endpoint agents, ensuring every release meets our high standards.
You will:
- Define and maintain clear, product-specific QA procedures.
- Perform functional, regression, and performance testing across multiple environments.
- Automate test scenarios where relevant to improve speed and coverage.
- Align test execution with release cycles to guarantee smooth rollouts.Work closely with development, product, and support teams to detect issues early, validate fixes, and prevent regressions.
This role is critical to maintaining customer trust and protecting Nucleon’s reputation for delivering robust, reliable cybersecurity solutions.
Your 5 key objectives
- QA process implementation : Documented QA process for the EDR console, with test scenarios for all core features within 3 months.
- Multi-OS validation : Complete agent validation tests on all supported OS (Windows & Linux), with documented results within 3 months.
- Gap analysis : Identify missing integration tests within the EDR stack (agent console backend) within 3 months.
- Product-wide QA coverage : QA processes completed for all existing products (EDR, Malprob, XDR, ScorX) within 6 months.
- Integration test coverage : Detailed coverage report for each product, highlighting missing cases and proposing new scenarios within 6 months.
What we’re looking for
Hard skills
- Proven experience in defining and documenting QA processes .
- Strong knowledge of manual and automated testing methodologies .
- Hands‑on experience testing multi-platform agents (Windows, Linux).
- Solid understanding of regression and integration testing .
- Basic scripting skills for test automation (Python, PowerShell, Bash ).
- Bonus: Experience with QA tools and CI/CD integration .
- Bonus: Understanding of security product ecosystems (EDR, XDR, SIEM).
Soft skills
- Exceptional attention to detail and methodical approach.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
- Ability to follow structured processes while spotting opportunities for improvement.
