Team Overview
The team is a dynamic and highly skilled group with members located in Paris and across France, Europe, including Belgium, Norway, Italy, etc. This team is responsible for health, safety, and environmental (HSE) management in land installation projects, ensuring regulatory compliance, risk management, and proactive safety culture development. The workplace is in Paris, but travel is expected and required. You will report operationally to the Head of Projects (France) and functionally to the H&S Manager for the Installation and Service Department.
Role Overview
As a PWR‑T Land Installation HSE Manager for the land frame agreement, you will play a pivotal role in driving HSE initiatives, ensuring robust risk management, and aligning safety strategies with corporate objectives and customer expectations. You’ll be responsible for following up Land Frame Agreements within France and coordinating other HSE functions in the PWR‑T Land Portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement proactive risk management frameworks for land installation projects across the European Land portfolio, focusing on PWR‑T Land frame agreements in France.
- Conduct risk assessments and embed mitigation strategies in project planning.
- Lead safety programs and behavioral safety initiatives across the Portfolio and report HSE KPIs to senior management.
- Oversee incident management processes.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, customer requirements, and internal HSE policies.
- Conduct HSE audits, site inspections, and compliance verifications.
- Provide HSE training and awareness sessions for project teams.
- Act as the primary HSE interface for customers, participating in audits and regulatory inspections.
- Lead strategic HSE initiatives, including digital safety tools and predictive analytics.
- Align HSE strategies with corporate sustainability and ESG goals.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Health, Safety, Environment, Engineering or a related field.
- 3‑5 years of experience in HSE leadership roles within land installation, construction or infrastructure projects.
- Knowledge of international safety standards (ISO 45001, ISO 14001) and risk management frameworks.
- Proven experience in incident investigation and safety analytics.
- Strong communication skills to engage internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong ability to work in cross‑functional teams including customers, project managers and regulators.
- Fluent in French and English – oral and written; additional language a plus.
