Salary: $25-$33/hr. Salary negotiable depending on experience.

We are seeking PV Solar Electricians for residential, commercial, municipal & industrial PV Solar Installations. Strong electrical background required. On the job training will be offered.

Responsibilities

• Installation of PV Solar systems that interconnect the solar array to the grid (residential, commercial, municipal, industrial).
• Ensure work performed by all electricians is of good workmanship and compliant with current NEC and local codes.
• Troubleshoot system problems and resolve electrical issues.
• Safely plan and complete Main Panel Upgrades (MPU).
• Work with design team to fulfill any necessary system upgrades/repairs to support solar equipment.
• Work with local inspectors to satisfy local requirements and expectations.
• Install backup batteries and whole home generators.
• Commission, test, inspect, troubleshoot, repair, and modify AC and DC solar PV systems, including inverters, PV module arrays, transformers, switchgear, and metering systems.
• Maintain personal safety, quality, and schedule adherence.
• Perform a variety of operations and maintenance work including measuring, reading, testing, and performing maintenance procedures on all site components under supervision.
• Ensure all documentation and required reports are reviewed, complete, submitted, and filed.
• Communicate cross-functionally across all necessary parts of the organization to achieve a resolution to plant issues.
• Order equipment, maintain work vehicles, take photos of completed work.
• Positively represent company, mission, and values.

Qualifications

• OSHA 10/OSHA 30 certification.
• Proven experience as an electrician.
• Valid driver's license.
• Knowledge of electrical systems, blueprints, power, and related equipment.
• Understanding of safety procedures, codes, guidelines, and NEC regulations.
• Ability to work independently or with a team.
• Critical thinking and problem‑solving skills.
• Time management skills.
• Must pass a background check and drug test.
