Purchasing Supplier Quality Engineer

Scope

As Stellantis SQE, you represent supplier plants, overseeing their industrial performance in mass production and ensuring supplier readiness during launch phases.

Responsibilities

• Provide SQD plant assessment on new suppliers according to NSA.
• Provide to CQC the supplier plant industrial performance for current suppliers.
• Manage the industrialization of parts during development and ensure consistency of supplier deliverables.
• Accountable for supplier readiness at launch.
• Manage greenfield (new supplier plant) projects.
• Contribute to qualification of product and process for parts or suppliers flagged with high risks (see project RASI).
• Measure the production capacity installed by suppliers based on data given by project buyer.
• Ensure industrial performance of supplier sites and drive continuous improvement in mass production.
• Check that lessons learned and risks are taken into account by CQC.

Qualifications

• English language proficiency (C1).
• Master’s degree in Engineering from an accredited university.
• Availability for business trips on a regular basis.
• 3–5 years of quality or manufacturing experience.
• Knowledge of quality methods and tool‑box operational practice.
• Project/program management and industrialization process knowledge.
• Knowledge of automotive products and technologies.
• Proactive, results‑driven, able to work in a dynamic, high‑change environment.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work autonomously, analytical and synthesis skills.
• Proficiency in SAP and Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
