About The Role
As part of a global transformation agenda, the Purchasing Category Manager is responsible for leading the sourcing and category strategy for professional services, consulting, contractors, and contingent workforce management across multiple regions. The position plays a key role in supporting business transformation initiatives, driving workforce optimization, and enabling IT delivery through strategic supplier partnerships.
Main Responsibilities
- Define category strategy and supplier segmentation.
- Lead RFx, negotiations and contract management.
- Drive nearshoring and offshoring initiatives.
- Manage consulting firms, system integrators and staffing providers.
- Partner with CIO, HR, Transformation Office and Finance.
- Monitor market trends, rates and delivery models.
- Track supplier performance and risk.
Required Experience
- 7+ years procurement experience.
- Strong professional services and contractor spend expertise.
- Global sourcing and transformation exposure.
- Complex stakeholder management.
