Context: Within the Digital Customer Services team for Savings and Retirement, the objective is to offer high-performing and intuitive services through our digital platforms. These platforms cover a strategic scope including individual and group supplementary retirement plans, as well as individual savings and insurance. The Proxy Product Owner (PPO) will play a key role in realizing this vision by facilitating collaboration between business and technical teams to deliver value to our customers.
MISSIONS The Proxy Product Owner acts as the strategic intermediary between the Product Owner (PO), business stakeholders, and the development team. They are the PO's right-hand person, relieving them of operational tasks, with a strong ability to delve into technical details to streamline the delivery process, ensure development aligns with business objectives, and guarantee the stability of solutions in production. Their main responsibilities include:- Operational Management of the Product Backlog: Assisting the Product Owner in defining, prioritizing, and managing the Product Backlog. Writing clear, concise, and testable User Stories, based on the needs expressed by the Product Owner and business teams. Continuously refining the Backlog to ensure its relevance and alignment with the product vision. Technical Interface and Communication: Serving as the primary point of contact and ensuring seamless communication between the development teams, the Product Owner, and business stakeholders. Clarify needs and specifications with the development team throughout sprints, providing in-depth technical insights as needed. Actively participate in and lead Agile rituals (refinement, sprint planning, demos, retrospectives). Ensure Technical Quality and Production Operation (RUN): Perform functional and technical acceptance testing of APIs (end-to-end testing, interface contract verification, performance). Manage RUN operations, including diagnosing and resolving level 1 and 2 incidents in collaboration with the development and operations teams. Conduct thorough analyses of malfunctions. Contribute to the implementation of monitoring and alerting processes to guarantee the availability and performance of digital services. Participate in the design and monitoring of functional and acceptance testing campaigns . Contribute to the validation of developed features to ensure they meet expectations and acceptance criteria, both functional and technical. Desired profile: Agile methodologies: Mastery of Scrum principles and ceremonies. Proven technical skills: o Good understanding of system architectures (REST/SOAP APIs, databases , microservices, cloud). o Ability to read and understand code (e.g., Java, .
NET, Python, Java
Script) and use debugging tools. o Experience with API testing tools (e.g., Postman, Soap
UI) and monitoring tools. o Knowledge of databases and ability to execute basic SQL queries. o Ability to analyze technical logs.- Interpersonal and communication skills: Excellent listening, oral and written communication skills, and ability to interact with a variety of stakeholders (business, technical, Product Owner). Ability to translate complex technical issues into business language and vice versa. Rigor and organization: Attention to detail, rigor in writing specifications, and organization to manage the product backlog and production incidents. Analytical and synthesis skills: Ability to understand complex needs and technical problems, and to translate them into clear features or corrective actions for the development team. Tools: Proficiency in project management and backlog tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence), and relevant technical tools. Strong operational awareness (RUN): Ability to anticipate production issues and react to them effectively. Expected deliverables : User stories, technical and functional documentation , reports and analyses (incident analysis reports with root cause analysis) , and test plans.
