Prototype buyer - Poissy ou Sochaux
Within the Purchasing Department, you will join the Prototype Purchasing team.
As an operational entity located as close as possible to the needs of the engineering prototype workshops, your mission is to meet all requirements for parts or sub-assemblies intended for the physical validation of definitions for our projects, in addition to the portion produced internally.
The pace of base/vehicle projects and Advanced Engineering topics requires curiosity and responsiveness. It will place you at the heart of base/vehicle development.
You will purchase from prototype suppliers the parts, tooling and services required to develop and produce vehicle or component prototypes.
As contributor to the purchasing strategy, you will ensure the alignment of the supplier panel with technical needs, conduct economic negotiations, select suppliers, and guarantee quality and delivery lead times.

ACTIVITIES PERFORMED:
- Identify the appropriate suppliers from the panel for requests for quotation within the assigned scope
- Negotiate offers
- Make supplier selections
- Place purchase orders
- Deploy the technical and purchasing policy for the part dedicated to the assigned scope (panel knowledge, supplier data updates, etc.).
The assigned scopes may potentially cover one or more prototype commodities.
