Propulsion – Pylon Engineering Continuous Development Engineer

Airbus Commercial Aircraft invites applications for a Propulsion – Pylon Engineering Continuous Development Engineer (M/F) to join the Pylon Engineering department in Toulouse, France. The role focuses on continuous development activities for the serial fleet and ensuring airworthiness of existing products.

Responsibilities

• Drive product continuous development through design changes, including Design Data Set, Engineering Dossier, and Technical Risk Assessment.
• Deliver engineering contributions for in‑service fleet support, managing daily tech request items, occurrences, and major in‑service problem resolution.
• Process daily concessions and non‑conformities to provide responsive engineering support to the Saint‑Eloi production plant.
• Lead technical projects autonomously, coordinating with multi‑functional team stakeholders (stress analysis, program, manufacturing, quality).
• Identify and implement improvement points on local processes, working methods, and digital solutions.

Qualifications

• Background in Aerospace, Mechanical or Structural Engineering.
• Proven experience in a design office or MAP environment with a quick path to delegated design signatures.
• Strong background in airframe structure design using metallic and/or composite options.
• Deep knowledge of ATA54 pylon architecture and related aircraft/engine interfaces.
• Strong knowledge of PL/M; experience with Catia V5 and SAP is a plus.
• Fluency in French and technical English (written and spoken).
• Aware of potential compliance risks and committed to act with integrity.
