Prompt Engineer (French)

Create and evaluate bilingual French–English prompts and responses to enhance AI model performance with accurate, culturally aligned language data.

Job Format: Hourly contract; independent contractor; flexible schedule

Pay: $25–$37 per hour

Location: Remote

Primary Responsibilities

• Design structured prompts in French and English with clear constraints and real-world applicability
• Develop evaluation rubrics capturing linguistic accuracy, tone, and cultural nuances
• Assess model-generated outputs for correctness, fluency, and contextual alignment
• Compare bilingual responses to ensure consistency and translation accuracy
• Conduct quality assurance reviews to validate prompts, rubrics, and benchmark data
• Refine evaluation standards and workflows to improve assessment reliability

Role Requirements

• Fluency in French (written) and English (reading and writing)
• Deep familiarity with French language usage, tone, and cultural context
• Proficiency in writing, editing, and structuring detailed prompts and responses
• Experience with or understanding of prompt creation, evaluation, or similar workflows
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Availability to contribute at least 20 hours per week
