An international and fast-growing industrial manufacturer is looking for an experienced Project Sales Engineer to support business development across French-speaking Europe. The company is a recognised leader in technical infrastructure solutions, operating in strategic sectors such as data centres, renewable energy, construction, industry, and large-scale infrastructure projects.

This role focuses on the development of technical B2B projects in environments where electrical installation, cable distribution, and system integration are central to the project. It is particularly suited to someone with a background in electrical infrastructure, technical distribution, or the sale of components and systems used in construction or industrial environments. The sales approach is consultative and project-driven — not catalogue-based.

Your Responsibilities

  • Develop and expand customer and distributor networks across France and French-speaking Belgium
  • Identify and follow up on strategic projects in data centres, infrastructure, energy, and industrial construction
  • Manage complex technical sales cycles with multiple stakeholders
  • Build strong long-term client relationships with contractors, design offices, engineering firms, and end users
  • Support large-scale commercial projects from first contact to delivery
  • Participate in trade fairs and industry events
  • Collaborate closely with sales, marketing, and customer service teams
  • Monitor market trends and competitor activity

Profile Sought

To succeed in this role, you bring:

  • Technical background in electrical systems, cable distribution, LV/MV components, or related industrial fields — or equivalent commercial experience in these environments
  • Minimum 7 years in a technical B2B sales or business development role
  • Experience working with contractors, design offices, installers, or system integrators
  • Familiarity with project environments such as data centres, industrial sites, infrastructure, or renewable energy installations
  • Existing network in the French electrical or construction ecosystem is a strong advantage
  • Fluent French and professional English required
  • Open to regular travel across France and French-speaking Belgium
